Would you stay and fight for me when things get rough? 

Redemption is nothing close to how it is portrayed in movies. It does not happen overnight, neither does it happen effortlessly. And if you’re a lucky lad like me, it doesn’t happen at all. Trying to walk out of a shadow of your own dark past is hell. No matter how hard you try to make up for the loss or the mistakes you have done, there’s no possible way we can erase those horrible memories in others’ mind. We will forever be labeled for who we were, for the things we said and for the things we’ve done in the past. The past will continue to haunt us, despite us striving to move on with life. For those whom we have hurt: pain, betrayal, hatred cannot even come close to describe what they are feeling each and every day. So if you had the choice, would you continue to redeem yourself and beg for their forgiveness and mercy so that hopefully one day your wish will be fulfill? Or would you just give up and stop trying because you know that it’s never going to happen, that they will never forget our wrongdoings.
